Project Engineer
Bao Nguyen joined Urban Strategy after discovering a passion for civil engineering through a hands-on internship with the firm. Originally drawn to the field by an interest in building bridges and structures, Bao quickly found his stride in land development and hasn’t looked back since.
As a Project Engineer, Bao plays a key role in production while steadily growing into project management responsibilities. He approaches problem-solving with a balance of independent analysis and collaborative input from senior team members, ensuring thoughtful and timely solutions.
Bao enjoys working on smaller-scale projects for their fast-paced nature and the opportunity to see progress unfold quickly. His clients and colleagues appreciate his attention to detail, punctuality, and ability to adapt and learn across all phases of a project.
What sets Urban Strategy apart for Bao is the opportunity to gain broad exposure and deep experience—something he values highly in a smaller, collaborative firm environment. It’s also what inspired him to return full-time after graduation.
Outside of the office, Bao’s go-to fun fact is that he’s completed a full marathon—a testament to his endurance, discipline, and drive.
