We’re excited to share one of our significant projects, the Rayzor Ranch Town Center, located at the SEC of IH-35 & US 380, 2855 W. University Drive, Denton, TX 76201. This 31-acre development features a vibrant in-line retail strip center including Target, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and At Home, along with various multi-tenant buildings.
Project Description:
Rayzor Ranch Town Center, a 31-acre retail and multi-tenant complex in Denton, Texas, showcases Urban Strategy’s expertise in both Civil Engineering and Surveying. Our team provided comprehensive infrastructure plans for water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, underground detention, paving, grading, boundary, topo, platting, ALTA, survey control, construction staking, drone services, transportation coordination, as well as all jurisdictional coordination.
US Survey Team Contributions:
- The property was re-platted twice for easement dedications and abandonments.
- Construction staking was essential; our survey team staked building corners, easements, and helped ensure the site benchmark was consistently used across each contractor on the job site.
Project Milestones:
- Start Design Date: May 2021
- Start of Construction Date: October 2022
- End of Construction Date: At Home opened September 2023. Target, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and the multi-tenant buildings are still under construction.
Favorite Moment:
Getting to work with Target and their team was exciting. This was our third project with Target, and it’s always a good experience working with their Real Estate and Development Teams.
